Where can I use composite decking?
As composite decking suppliers we have a selection of composite deck boards that can be used in any commercial or residential environment including gardens, patios, balconies, swimming pools, caravans, roof terraces, public spaces and near on any outdoor application.
Is composite decking slippery when wet?
Like most things that are outdoor when wet, decking boards made of composite can become slippy but not as much as a traditional wooden deck as composite decking does not absorb the water as much. Our decking offers a high anti-slip resistance compared to other decking options.
What’s the Life Expectancy of Composite Decking?
Due to composite decking’s plastic composition, the life expectancy of any composite deck boards far exceeds that of traditional timber. Composite decking combines plastic, timber and bonding agents to create one of the most durable products on the market.
All of our deck boards come with a 25 year residential warranty, and a 10 year commercial warranty as standard.
How do I Clean Composite Decking?
Composite decking is low maintenance and easy to clean. To keep it looking its best, we advise cleaning your decking at least twice a year, or more often if required.
For light cleans, use hot soapy water and a soft bristled brush to clean your deck before rinsing with a hose pipe. For deeper cleans, use a pressure washer with a maximum pressure of 1500 PSI. Keep the hose gun at least 12 inches away from the composite decking.
Whether you use a hose or pressure washer, follow the direction of the grain and rinse thoroughly.
What are the Differences Between Your Decking Ranges?
The main differences between our ranges are whether the boards are uncapped (first generation) or capped (second/third generation) and whether they have a hollow or solid core. All of our composite decking ranges are extremely durable, low maintenance and come with a 25 year residential warranty and a 10 year commercial warranty. Whichever range of composite decking you choose, the boards come in a range of colours and are guaranteed not to warp or splinter. Read more about our ranges below
