Installing Assured Composite Cladding Boards
Installing Composite Cladding Boards To The Starter Clips & Framework
Cladding Starter Clips Align The Cladding
Fix cladding starter clips to the framework at every composite batten leaving 20mm from the ground. Screw through the hole on each starter clip with the screws provided ensuring that the screws are fully screwed into place to prevent catching on the composite cladding board when installed.
Fixing The Composite Cladding
Push the first composite cladding board into the cladding starter clips. Ensure that the cladding board is securely pushed into all cladding starter clips before continuing.
Screw through the top groove of the composite cladding board and into each composite batten to secure the cladding board. Ensure that the screws are fully screwed into place to prevent catching on the next composite cladding board.
Continue with the same process until the last composite cladding board, cutting cladding boards where required. Leave 8mm expansion gaps between composite cladding board joins.
If the last composite cladding board does not fit as a whole then cut the cladding board to size.
Cut and fix supporting blocks to each composite batten to support composite cladding boards where required.
Fix into place by screwing through the face of the composite cladding board, through the supporting block and into each composite batten.
